Tap Tempo 027 - KJ Sawka and the road to Pendulum

Happy Friday, friends.

After a little hiatus (read: touring, SXSW), Tap Tempo is back this week with KJ Sawka.  KJ is a very renowned drummer, whom I've been fortunate to know for a decade at this point.  We initially worked together on BT's These Hopeful Machines, with KJ providing some of the live drumming on the album.  And now, we both live in LA. Success.   He picked up his first bit of notoriety right around the time youtube started to become a thing, and needless to say, his skills have always been rather insane.  ie: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=b98BJ36K1wo

On this episode he goes deeply into his background, the various ways he kept reinventing his techniques, and the sheer dedication that eventually culminated in the offer to be the drummer of the band, Pendulum.
