Tap Tempo 014 - Reuben Keeney + LA/Denver and Elevate

Happy Wednesday everyone,

This week on the show I've got Irish house music producer, Reuben Keeney.  About 8 years ago or so I remixed one of his records called "Futuro," and the crazy thing is he was only about 16 or 17 years old at the time.  Fast forward to present day, he'd been listening to the podcast, was planning a trip to LA, and wanted to join. So here we are.  He's a great guy.  We talk a lot about his background, how he ended up making records at such a young age, a lot about the international political climate, nationalism and so forth, and introduce him to southern California beer.

This saturday I'm doing a warehouse show in LA.  Late night.  2-4am.  Then I'm quickly flying to Denver a few hours later and will be doing a free show at Beta.  For those in either area, tickets/RSVP can be found here:  www.mattlange.net/tour

Lastly for the production folks, I've been involved with Eventide/Newfangled Audio for the past year on a new limiter called Elevate.  It's out now finally, and it's quite honestly the best limiter I've ever used.  It's stunning.  They had me film a little video about it with them a couple weeks ago in New York and you can learn more about it here:  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sBE3h2EKyW0
